To play the game, first enter your Username which will later be displayed on the Leaderboard.
Choose a category in which to test your knowledge. The topics are General Knowledge, Entertainment, Science, History, Mythology, Geography, Sports, Politics.
Then choose a difficulty for the specific topic. This can be Easy, Medium, Hard or Random.
Answer as many questions as you can correctly. Try to answer them before the timer runs out! Your score and the questions remaining will be available to see in the Heads-Up-Display (HUD).
For each question you get right, your score will increase by 5 plus a timed score based on how fast you answered the question.
If you wish to pause the game you can click on the QuizUp logo on the left of the HUD. This will open a Modal window which will allow you to start a new game, resume the current game, or exit the current game and return to the home page.
When the game session is finished you will be presented with your game stats. You then have the option to start a new game or view the Leaderboard, which shows the top 10 players.
